Mayor: Randall Kary

I came to Langham in 1986 and was employed by Waldner’s Tax and Insurance Service and have been here ever since.
In 1996 my wife and two children moved to Langham. In 2015 I changed employment and I am now working at Chip Bookkeeping Services Inc.
I was first elected to town council in 2018 in a by-election and then again in 2020. I served until 2022 when I had to step down for health reasons.
I am happy to say that I have recovered and am ready to serve the community again.
I am looking forward to serve the community by bringing in more business and residential properties, working towards transparency and improving our town for all residents and visitors.

I am proud to call Langham my home community since 1978, I have served a total of thirteen years as a member of town council, other community involvement was participating on the Community Hall Board for over ten years, Scout Leader for the same group who started out as Beavers, then Cubs, and finally becoming actual Boy Scouts, I also served on the Wheatland Library Board for a total of 7 years.
Along with my late wife Judy who was also our town Post Master for 25 years we raised two sons who both attended Langham Elementary then Walter W Brown which led to them both taking further education and moving into excellent careers.
Happy to serve our community of Langham for at least another four years.

My family and I have called Langham home for over 22 years and have always found it to be an exceptional community, and I felt it was time to do my part to help better it.
I strongly believe that as members of the council transparency and accountability are a must as we are accountable to the community, and you have a right to understand why we make the decisions that we make as they affect you.
I also strongly believe in fiscal responsibility so that our future generations and community can flourish and thrive.
I look forward to working with the council and our community for the betterment of all.
